God Will Never Force You to do Something Against Your Will

God Will Never Force You to do Something Against Your Will

#ShepherdScribe

Too many of us are afraid to miss out God's will but the fear itself, actually helps us miss out God's design.

They say, before you do something, ask God's guidance first. This is how things become confusing.

What is God's will in this particular area of my life?

While it is true that God wants the best for us, we often forgot that our covenant with Him is on a relational basis and not on a master-slave agreement.

God is not hell-bent on controlling us. Our future is determined by our choices and by a progressive thinking of honoring His heart. It is impossible to honor Him if we don't know how we should respond to Him.

The first question to ask is, "Who are you in my life, Lord?" Is He not our sweetest Daddy? Is He not our best friend? Is He not someone who cares a lot for us?

If we do recognize His hand in a situation, it is because He is changing our hearts. He is not against us! He will never coerce us to do something but everything that He desires of us is always for our own good.

..But I want to obey God over my own desires.

My friend, if you have a desire that you think goes against what He wills, it is because we do not see the whole picture. One thing is for sure, God doesn't want you to hurt yourself. Sometimes, the events happening in our lives go against our favor. That's when we do things from the position of hurt and rebel against Him.

If only we see, how steadfast is His love. How He wants us to experience what He designed, then we shall no longer be a master of our will. This process, my friend, is surrender and He is ever patient in understanding the multiple facets of our journey.

When God asks you to do something,  it's when we are willing to yield to Him. This is only when we see the end of what He desires -- our wellbeing.

As you see, this is not a matter of Him asserting His authority. This is a matter of seeing the better option.

He wants us to be responsible with our choices and partake when we are ready. He is always waiting for us to see His excitement over us as we mature in our love for Him.

Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think.
This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
Romans 12:2 TPT

This is not a command, this is an invitation to see the greater things that He offers. It is His joy to give us the kingdom. It is His confidence that we shall receive the things He prepares. You deserve to experience this fullness of life! You are loved. God bless!
